Individual Therapeutic Exercise

Individual therapeutic exercise is a personalized intervention that seeks to restore, maintain and improve the patient's physical function and general well-being. Through an exercise program designed specifically for each individual, particular needs are addressed, whether for the rehabilitation of an injury, the prevention of pathologies or the improvement of physical condition.

What does it consist of?

After a thorough evaluation by our physiotherapists, an exercise plan adapted to the patient's characteristics and objectives is developed. This plan may include:

  • Joint mobility exercisesTo improve the range of motion of the affected joints.
  • Muscle strengtheningFocused on specific muscle groups that require attention.
  • StretchingTo increase flexibility and reduce muscle tension.
  • Balance and coordination trainingTo prevent falls and improve stability.

  • Increased efficiencyBy focusing on specific areas, results are optimized.
  • Injury preventionBy correcting muscular imbalances and improving body mechanics.

Generally, sessions last between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the patient's needs and objectives.

Not necessarily. Although common in rehabilitation processes, individual therapeutic exercise is also beneficial in preventing injuries, improving posture and increasing overall fitness.

The ideal frequency varies according to the case, but it is commonly recommended between 1 and 3 sessions per week, complemented with exercises to be performed at home.

It is advisable to wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement and bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
